SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:
Greydawn is ALWAYS accepting submissions, however please keep in mind just who and what we are. We are essentially a subdistributer that offers up information and contacts freely. Currently, we ONLY accept submissions from bands and people in the Portland metro area (Portland, Gresham, Tigard, Vancouver WA, etc.). We try to help as much as we can, but everyone who keeps Greydawn afloat either works for Greyday or are in the bands on the imprint, so it is really designed for DIY artists who want to put in the time, money, and effort. We do not use conventional contracts, and the only obligation you have to us is to allow us to distribute the records you submit to us. We offer discount rates on pressing your record, several outlets for distribution and sales, and DIY mastering free of charge (note that professional mastering will result in a better sounding record). If interested, send final mixes or master for review to Greydawn Records, PO Box 2086, Portland OR 97208-2086 and drop an email to submissions@greydawnrecords.com with info about you and your project. It is a definite plus if you want to help the other bands and the imprint, as many of the bands work together to promote each other.
